Stick to reality

Mr. Ho Van Dai - Head of the Front Work Committee (CTMT) of Cam Sa block and members of the Front of Dien Nam Bac ward have just finished performing a play on the situation handling competition, discussing solutions to escape poverty for 3 households.

In the play, after analyzing and giving opinions on the circumstances of each poor household, the organizations and branches including the elderly, farmers, veterans, and youth union reached an agreement on a plan to mobilize and support money to help 3 households have a sustainable way to escape poverty.

"Although this is just a dramatized situation, it is not unfamiliar with the local reality, so the members hardly need to act much," Mr. Dai commented.

With 3 contests including self-introduction, CTMT skills, and situation handling, the 2024 Dien Ban Town Excellent Grassroots Front Cadre Competition that has just taken place is considered a useful playground, closely following the actual situation.

Accordingly, the first two parts introduce the locality and unit and answer multiple-choice questions about the tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ho Chi Minh's thought on great national unity; the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the Fatherland Front's participation in Party building and government building...

The situation handling part is really attractive and engaging with content groups related to many life issues for 20 commune and ward teams to participate in such as drug abuse, poor quality goods, poverty reduction initiatives..., requiring grassroots front cadres to have scientific , legal, and reasonable solutions.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chin - Secretary of the Party Cell of Block 5 (Vinh Dien Ward) expressed that the contest helped people better understand the work of the Front and the CTMT Committee, because most of the propaganda content was related to areas of social life.

"Through monitoring, I see that if the contest is widely spread, it will help people understand the position and role of those working in the CTMT, especially in solving life problems, contributing to creating stability for society" - Mr. Chin said.

Improve facility efficiency

Most of the performances of the 20 participating teams were carefully staged, of high quality, and met the requirements. According to Mr. Tran Van Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien An Ward, this is a useful playground for those working on grassroots CTMT. At the same time, it helps to supplement knowledge, experience, and situation handling ability for the front staff in each locality.

“The Dien An team chose the topic of “Say no to drugs” to handle the situation. This is considered a worrying situation today, especially when drugs have infiltrated and infiltrated residential areas. Therefore, the play is also the message that the team wants to convey; resolutely say no to drugs, determined to prevent drugs in the community,” Mr. Hung shared.

Mr. Hung said that in order for the contest to be close to life and have a high influence, immediately after receiving the plan from the Town Front, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward held a meeting to deploy the content for the 7 CTMT committees of the block to quickly coordinate to build the script and select members to actively practice for the contest.

Mr. Phan Ngoc Hai - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Ban town affirmed that the most obvious effect of the contest is not only raising awareness of the community about the real issues that are happening, but also contributing to spreading and highlighting the role, position and function of those working in grassroots CTMT as well as this field in daily life...

“The contest is an opportunity for members of the CTMT committees of villages and blocks to exchange and share experiences in the process of performing tasks in the locality. At the same time, it also spreads good models and effective methods, contributing to diversifying forms of mobilization, gathering, and expanding the great national solidarity bloc, helping to build and consolidate the organization and activities of the Front to become increasingly stronger.

The contest also helps the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the town to accurately assess the situation, quality of the CTMT and the front staff at the grassroots level in an objective and timely manner. From there, propose solutions to innovate the content and methods of operation, and improve the quality of the staff working on CTMT in the coming time" - Mr. Hai said.
