After conducting a survey and listening to progress reports from relevant units regarding the site preparation, the layout of the opening ceremony stage, fruit and food stalls, decorative displays, and other details, Mr. Bui Huu Toan agreed with the proposed spatial arrangements for the activities. He emphasized the need to expedite site preparation, construction, and stall installation according to plan, and stressed the importance of thorough preparation for the opening ceremony. He also requested necessary adjustments to align with the program and plan.
According to the plan, the 2024 Fruit Harvest Festival will take place from June 15th to June 22nd (corresponding to the 10th to 17th day of the 5th lunar month) in Hung Dinh ward, Thuan An city. This event promises to leave many positive impressions on locals and tourists.
The 2024 Fruit Festival is expected to attract around 100 stalls with a variety of activities such as: a Fruit Fair and Food & Tourism Festival with the theme "Sweetness of the South"; display of artistically shaped fruits; sale of specialty fruits and processed fruit products; display of seedlings, ceramic and lacquerware products; and sale of typical food and drinks of Binh Duong, as well as provinces and cities in the Eastern and Southwestern regions of Vietnam.

The Fruit Harvest Festival has become a traditional "brand" of Binh Duong over the years. This event is deeply rooted in the rural culture of the orchards, creating a familiar playground for orchard owners to exchange, learn, and hone their skills. Furthermore, the festival plays an important role in promoting the brand of Lai Thieu fruit from Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province.
This is an opportunity for localities in the Southeast and Southwest regions to expand their markets, strengthen trade and tourism cooperation, and contribute to promoting the economic, cultural and social development of Binh Duong as well as the Southern provinces and cities in general. This festival is not only a fun event but also a valuable opportunity to promote the economic and cultural development of the region.
