As the Party Branch Secretary and Head of Vinh Buu Hamlet, Vinh Chau Commune, Tay Ninh Province, from 2017 to the present, Mr. Tran Van Chanh (born in 1968) has always been dynamic and enthusiastic in his work; exemplary and leading in local emulation movements, and has made many positive contributions to Party building and the new rural development movement, earning the trust and affection of the people.

Vinh Buu hamlet has 212 households with 620 inhabitants and 12 Party members. The lives of the people in the hamlet largely depend on agricultural production and small-scale trading. With the sense of responsibility of the Party Branch Secretary and Hamlet Head, Mr. Tran Van Chanh is not afraid of difficulties or hardships, always staying close to the people to understand their thoughts and feelings, propagating and mobilizing them to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, and participate in local movements. Through this, he has fostered unity among the people, improved local movements, enhanced the material and spiritual lives of the people, and reduced the poverty rate in the hamlet.
In carrying out his duties, he was always proactive, creative, and sought out the most effective methods, upholding a strong sense of responsibility to the collective. He accepted and successfully completed all tasks entrusted to him by the Party, government, and people, earning the trust of leaders at all levels and the confidence of the people.
Mr. Chánh shared: "To gain people's trust and follow us, we must lead the way in all activities, our words must match our actions; we must be determined to do our best to serve the people, even in the smallest things, as long as it benefits them."
In his daily life, Mr. Chánh was trusted and respected by officials, Party members, and the people in the hamlet because of his honesty, straightforwardness, openness, and sociability. He was approachable, respectful, and listened to the opinions of Party members and the general public.
In the context of building new rural areas, Mr. Chánh, along with the Party branch, mobilized people in the hamlet to contribute tens of thousands of square meters of land, hundreds of days of labor, and funds for the construction, upgrading, and repair of rural roads and bridges.
From the beginning of 2025 until now, he has voluntarily and mobilized 47 households in the hamlet to contribute thousands of square meters of land to build 3 rural roads combined with enclosed dikes to serve agricultural production, with a total length of over 4km and a value of hundreds of millions of VND.
In addition, every year, he coordinates with various organizations to effectively implement movements launched by the local authorities, mobilizing philanthropists to join hands in caring for poor households, families entitled to preferential policies, children, etc., worth tens of millions of VND.

Thanks to his dedicated efforts, over the years, Mr. Tran Van Chanh has helped the hamlet's Party branch to successfully complete its assigned tasks. He has been recognized and highly appreciated by his superiors, receiving numerous certificates of merit and commendations for his many achievements in performing his duties.
The female Party Secretary of the hamlet is energetic and enthusiastic.
Born and raised in a family with a compassionate and dedicated community spirit, Ms. Sa Ty Gia - Party Secretary and Head of Cham Hamlet, Tan Thanh Commune - uses these admirable qualities to strengthen the bond between the Party, local government, and the people in the hamlet. She has made a significant contribution to improving culture, building a civilized and healthy lifestyle for the people, and nurturing "red seeds" (ideologically sound individuals), maintaining and developing the Party in the hamlet.
Having risen through the ranks from a village youth union official, in 2012 she officially joined the Party and undertook many responsibilities in the village, such as Head of the Women's Association, Head of the Cham Village Management Board, and in 2024, she was trusted by Party members to be elected as Secretary of the Cham Village Party Branch.

The Cham hamlet Party branch currently has 9 members, including 5 Cham ethnic minority members, among whom is Ms. Gia. Leveraging her connection to the Cham community, she understands their thoughts, aspirations, and difficulties, allowing her to approach them with tact, bringing practical policies and initiatives closer to the people and building trust within the community.
Ms. Giá recalled that in previous years, the educational level of the people in the community was quite low. The people mainly worked as laborers or factory workers. Knowing both Cham and Vietnamese, Ms. Giá used her ethnic language to explain to the people about the Party, its leadership role, and the State, and to promote and introduce humane policies such as loan programs, social security, and health insurance.
“Unlike other positions, the role of Party Branch Secretary requires more skillful communication. To gain the trust of the people, in addition to communication skills, a gentle attitude and a thorough understanding of policies are needed to effectively convey the rights, obligations, and benefits of the people when implementing and participating in the Party and State's policies and guidelines,” Ms. Gia shared.
Thanks to her tireless efforts, the people of Cham hamlet, especially the Cham ethnic minority, now have a better understanding of the Party, the policies of the Party and the State, and enjoy diverse livelihoods thanks to these sound policies, such as starting businesses, trading, raising children, etc. Many young people have also received higher education and become intellectuals contributing to the development of their homeland.
Developing the Party in a unique area like the Cham hamlet is not only a difficult task for the Tan Thanh Commune Party Committee but also a great challenge for Ms. Gia and the Party members in the branch, because while the people's awareness of the Party has improved, there are still many limitations. Undeterred, she regularly pays attention to the youth and young people in the community.
With the encouragement and active support from the hamlet's Party branch, Ms. Giá found four outstanding and enthusiastic members who actively participate in Youth Union and Association activities and social welfare activities in the locality. Among them are two recent high school graduates and two junior high school graduates. "Currently, the Party branch is actively monitoring and nurturing them to become young Party members, supplementing the ranks of the hamlet's Party branch," Ms. Giá added.
According to Le Huu Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Thanh commune: “Comrade Sa Ty Gia is a dynamic, enthusiastic, and responsible Party Branch Secretary. He actively addresses issues of particular concern to the hamlet's Party Branch and the people in the hamlet. Regarding matters from higher-level agencies, he actively proposes solutions and monitors the results of their resolution to support the people in the hamlet. Therefore, in recent times, Cham hamlet has shown positive development, the lives of the people are stable, contributing to the successful implementation of the commune's political tasks.”
Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh is a long and never-ending journey. The shining examples we have seen are only a small part of the countless exemplary individuals who are studying and following Uncle Ho's example every day. We learn from Uncle Ho through the smallest but most meaningful actions to contribute to building the country.
