This is an event to celebrate the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023). Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association in collaboration with Saigon Entrepreneur Magazine organized the 2023 Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association Open Tennis Tournament - Thinh Tri Cup. The tournament will take place on June 17 and 18, 2023 at Hoang Thien Stadium (District 8, Ho Chi Minh City).

According to the representative of the Organizing Committee, up to now, the tournament is divided into 5 groups/competition categories, in which the Men's Doubles group of press agency leaders has 7 pairs, Men's Doubles under 45 years old has 14 pairs, Men's Doubles press - business has 25 pairs, Men's Doubles over 45 years old has 11 and Mixed Doubles has 17 pairs.
The total prize money at the 2023 Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association Open Tennis Tournament is up to 40 million VND. In addition to the trophy and medals, the first-place tennis pairs in each event will receive 3 million VND, the second-place prize is 2 million VND and the third-place prize is 1.5 million VND.

Speaking at the drawing ceremony, journalist Duong Vu Thong - Permanent Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association said that this is an annual tennis tournament, organized to create a playground for training and sports exchange among journalists in the city.
