According to most growers, this year's avocado crop failed due to the impact of climate change during the flowering and fruiting stages. Avocado prices have increased compared to 2024, but people's income is not high.
Although mango trees have a good harvest, the price is lower than in 2024. This shows that the province's fruit production is still affected by weather and market, and there are no sustainable links.
According to statistics, the total area of fruit trees in the province is currently over 24,400 hectares, exceeding 5,000 hectares compared to the planning of the Department of Agriculture and Environment until 2030. Therefore, farmers, businesses, and cooperatives should not massively expand the area of fruit trees.

The province builds concentrated production areas with uniform quality and large scale in areas with suitable climate and land; thereby, facilitating linkage and cooperation with investors to create a fairly large output for processing and export.
The province directs the relevant departments to research, select varieties and perfect intensive cultivation processes and intercrop key fruit trees. Dak Nong develops concentrated fruit growing areas such as mango, durian, avocado in Dak Mil district, durian in Dak R'lap district, oranges, tangerines, and citrus trees in Gia Nghia city, Dak Glong and Krong No districts, etc.
