Tran Vu Van Anh, a dual major student in English and corporate finance from the University of Finance and Marketing (UFM), has just attracted attention for her achievement of winning the title of Golden Swallow Student Swallow 2025.
Recalling the memory of participating in the MC skills competition for students in Ho Chi Minh City, Van Anh said she tried her best to achieve good results.
In the pair round, Van Anh showed good coordination with her teammates, bringing an impressive opening performance.

Transforming into an energetic on-site MC, Van Anh paired up with her co-host Duy Binh to vividly recreate the theme "The magical journey to the final of U23", making the entire audience feel like they were back in Changzhou (China) that year, reliving the golden moments of Vietnamese football.
This was the opening act, so Van Anh was judged by the judges to have performed quite well. The female student said that she had to change the script 3 times and this was completely a stage in her imagination.
The group was commented by the judges as having a well-prepared performance, from script to demeanor.
Not every path is paved with roses. Van Anh has faced many challenges and failures on her journey to pursue a career as a program host.
Since childhood, she has been destined for the MC profession, competing in many big and small competitions, but luck has not really smiled on Van Anh. The failures have helped her realize that she needs to continuously learn and improve herself every day.
One of the biggest lessons Van Anh received after the 2025 Student Swallow competition was the skills of leading pairs and improvising on stage, because these are skills that require listening and understanding.
She realized that her strength was having a very good source of energy and took advantage of that in the competitions.
However, she encountered a big difficulty in not knowing how to control herself, sometimes taking on too many things causing her to fall into a state of crisis.
There were times when the female student could not control herself, leading to not achieving the desired results. However, instead of giving up, Van Anh always studied hard and was not afraid to accept suggestions to improve.
In addition to spending time studying a dual major with a huge amount of knowledge, the female student actively participates in the school's clubs and extracurricular activities, which gives her more opportunities to gain practical experience.

Many people wonder if studying two majors is "out of sync" with the dream of becoming a professional MC, but for Van Anh, this is a harmonious combination.
She further explained: "The English language major helps me improve my speaking fluency and opens up opportunities to become a bilingual MC in the future. Meanwhile, the logical thinking typical of the financial industry is a powerful tool for me to analyze problems from the smallest details, using arguments and evidence to convince the audience."
The female student shared that it was difficult to start pursuing a professional MC career because she did not know how to balance everything in the beginning. But gradually, with passion and enthusiasm, she has tried to pursue that dream until now.
According to her, the most important factor for a host is "three hearts": heart for people, heart for the profession and heart for yourself.

Mr. Cao Tuan Kiet, President of the Student Union of the University of Finance and Marketing, had many compliments for Tran Vu Van Anh. He commented that the student is extremely active, intelligent, always ready to listen and accept changes to improve herself day by day.
Previously, when Van Anh participated in the UFM Voice Talent 2024 program, a competition to find a UFM MC, the female student impressed with her gentle demeanor and always being punctual and neat.
“In Van Anh, the desire to shine on stage along with a serious learning spirit is demonstrated through each practice session, while courage is tempered through moments of “holding the mic” through UFM news, through each program organized by the Union - Association”, Mr. Tuan Kiet shared.
After winning the Golden Swallow Student Award 2025, Van Anh aims to continue pursuing her "speaking career" in a more focused and professional manner.
Although there are still many worries about the upcoming journey, this victory has given her more motivation and is a solid springboard to help the young girl push herself, and at the same time remind herself that she must be responsible for this title.
