In the recent high school graduation exam, Pham Thi Hau, a 12/11 student at Phan Boi Chau High School, Da Nang City, touched many people with her story of overcoming difficulties, and also inspired them strongly when she excellently won 29 points in block C00.
Of which, literature got 9.5 points, geography got 9.75 points and history got 9.75 points. I was the top student in block C00 of the school, only 0.5 points behind another candidate also from Da Nang.

With the score he achieved, Hau applied to Hue University of Education, with the dream of becoming a literature teacher. Hau shared that in grades 10 and 11, he was an excellent student, and in grade 12, he was an excellent student of the school.
Talking about his family situation, with a face that could not hide his sadness, Hau said that in 2017, his mother died in a traffic accident. In 2024, his father also died of a serious illness. Orphaned of both parents, Hau was taken in by his aunt and uncle.
Living with her aunt, uncle and grandfather in a small coastal fishing village in Tam Xuan commune, Da Nang city, many people know the little girl Hau, but she is very determined and always knows how to overcome difficulties and rise up.
Talking about studying, Hau said that he will spend more time on literature. “There are 7 days in a week, 4 days for literature, the remaining 3 days for history and geography. I will learn the basic knowledge of all subjects and learn more keywords,” Hau shared.

Before the exam, Hau also felt a little pressure because he was afraid that he would not be able to do the test even though he had studied hard. After the exam, Hau felt that it was worth the effort, because he had spent a lot of time studying and practicing with teachers, friends and online.
In particular, Hau considers himself to have repaid the kindness of his parents, the kindness of his uncle and aunt, and the love of his relatives, teachers and friends.
"Even though my parents are no longer here, I believe that in heaven, they are also very happy with my academic results," Hau confided.
Hau also understands that the only way to escape from difficulties and repay his parents' kindness is through education.
I always tell myself to study hard and try hard to be worthy of the love my parents have given me, as well as the protection and upbringing of my uncle.

After tireless efforts, the results achieved in the 2025 high school graduation exam opened the door to university for Hau.
Although she could choose many different careers with her score, Hau's dream is extremely simple and noble: to become a literature teacher.
“This is the path that I believe will help me realize my burning dream, bring knowledge and enthusiasm to students, and contribute a small part to the cause of educating people,” Hau shared.
Commenting on his student, Mr. Dinh Gia Thien, Principal of Phan Boi Chau High School, said that Hau lost his mother at a young age. In grades 10 and 11, he was a poor student who overcame difficulties and received attention from teachers and the school.
Teacher Thien also expressed that Hau is a small student, with a gentle face, bright eyes and many hidden thoughts, she studies well and has a strong will. In 2024, she entered her final year of high school, her father got sick and passed away, she had to live with her uncle and aunt's family.
According to Mr. Thien, despite his extremely difficult circumstances, he never gave up and still went to class regularly. Knowing his situation, his homeroom teacher, subject teachers, and the school cared for and encouraged him more.
The school always gives him many scholarships. As a result, Hau won second prize in the provincial history competition, achieving 29 points in block C in the 2025 high school graduation exam.
“This is a well-deserved result for you and your teachers are proud of you. We hope that you will continue to accompany us when you enter university, to help you achieve your dream and later become a useful citizen for society,” said Mr. Thien.
