From 101 countries to meaningful journeys.

Ms. Tran Huyen Trang (born in 1993, from Phu Tho province) has turned her childhood dream into reality by visiting 101 countries and territories. Having previously pursued "fast-paced" trips to conquer new lands, she now chooses a different pace: "slow" travel to explore more deeply and, most importantly, to be accompanied by her parents.

She completed the milestone of visiting 100 countries on August 31, 2024, with a short flight to Bahrain from Dubai, where she lives and works. "In my younger years, I often took quick trips like that, ready to visit a new country in just one or two days," Trang shared. In early 2025, her journey continues with Croatia, bringing her total number of destinations to 101.

Dreams soar high on the wings of the sky.

Huyen Trang's passion for travel was kindled from a young age and intensified after a student exchange program in Macau (China) at the age of 19. This experience motivated her to improve her language skills and seek opportunities to explore the world .

Two years later, she was hired by Emirates Airlines (UAE), a unique job that opened up a golden opportunity for her to fulfill her dreams. With about 30 days of vacation each year, she made the most of it to explore new cultures. "The more I travel, the more I realize how vast the world is, and how small I am," she confided.

In her younger years, her travel style prioritized experiences and exploring local life, sometimes on spontaneous trips. A memorable experience was a 1.5-day trip to Egypt, a spur-of-the-moment decision with colleagues right after a long flight from New Zealand. Although brief, the trip left a deep impression of the ancient and mysterious land of the pyramids.

A new turning point: Slow travel with family.

After achieving her goal of visiting 101 countries, Huyen Trang realized she was no longer in a hurry to conquer those numbers. Instead, she wanted to spend time exploring the places she had already visited in more depth and, more importantly, take her parents on trips.

With her extensive experience, she became a special "guide" for her parents. What's remarkable is that her parents divorced 15 years ago. Initially, they only visited their daughter separately, but out of love for her, they agreed to join her on trips together. "Over time, my parents overcame the tension and now treat each other like friends. The trips together have become familiar, and they both enjoy them comfortably," Trang recounted.

Priceless memories from every journey.

For over three years, Trang and her parents have explored many provinces and cities in Vietnam and 10 other countries. Each trip has been a memorable experience. Last April, she welcomed her parents to Dubai, where they were present at her graduation ceremony and promotion to deputy flight attendant. "My first graduation ceremony was 11 years ago, and I was alone. This time, having my parents by my side makes me much happier," she said emotionally.

Most recently, at the end of August, the whole family explored five European countries together: Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, France, and the Czech Republic. She celebrated her 32nd birthday warmly in Paris with loved ones, a luxury after many years of being busy abroad.

For Huyen Trang, the journey of exploring the world now has a new meaning. "Now I realize that the happiest and most memorable trips are when family is by my side. I will continue to take my parents to many places, so that the whole family can explore this vast world together," she shared.
