(Dan Tri) - According to information from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Dang Tran Cuong - Director of the Vietnam Center for Sports and Tourism Cinema - will hold the position of Director of the Department of Cinema in the coming time.


Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet - Chief of Office, spokesman of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) - said that on the afternoon of October 30, the Ministry's leaders handed over the new appointment decision.

Accordingly, Mr. Dang Tran Cuong - Director of the Vietnam Sports and Tourism Cinema Center (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) - will hold the position of Director of the Cinema Department from December 1.

Mr. Vi Kien Thanh - current Director - will retire from December 1.

Mr. Dang Tran Cuong (born 1982) in Bac Giang , is the Director of Vietnam Sports and Tourism Cinema Center since January 2017.

Previously, he worked at the University of Theater and Cinema, teaching Film Editing Technology and serving as Deputy Director of the school's Experimental Film Studio.

In addition to Mr. Cuong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of Cinema - transferred to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Training under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism also decided to transfer and appoint Ms. Phan Linh Chi - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Finance - to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
