At the conference, the Central Organizing Committee implemented the Politburo's decision on personnel matters. Accordingly, Mr. Ho Van Mung, alternate member of the Central Committee of the Party, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and Secretary of the Nha Trang City Party Committee, ceased his participation in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and relinquished his position as Secretary of the Nha Trang City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; he was transferred, assigned, and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
On behalf of the Central Organizing Committee leadership, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Do Trong Hung congratulated Mr. Ho Van Mung on his new assignment; affirming that this is a recognition and high appreciation from the Central Committee for him.
Mr. Do Trong Hung suggested that, in his new position, Mr. Ho Van Mung should inherit and build upon the traditions and experiences of his predecessors, listen to the opinions of the people, be closely involved with the grassroots; be dedicated and committed, innovate thinking and methods, and work together with the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Executive Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee to lead and direct the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 11th An Giang Provincial Party Congress. In the immediate future, he should focus on leading and directing the successful organization of party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 12th An Giang Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
Mr. Do Trong Hung also requested that the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, and leaders at all levels, sectors, and localities in An Giang province pay attention, coordinate, and create favorable conditions for Mr. Ho Van Mung to best fulfill the assigned tasks and responsibilities. He also requested that the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee continue to uphold their leadership responsibilities in organizing the Provincial People's Council session to elect the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, ensuring adherence to principles, procedures, and regulations, and achieving the best possible results.
Mr. Ho Van Mung pledged to continuously study, train, be open-minded, listen attentively, be dedicated and committed, maintain discipline and order, especially unity and cohesion within the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Committee, build upon the achievements of previous generations and senior leaders, constantly innovate and create, and resolutely and decisively fulfill all assigned tasks.
Mr. Ho Van Mung, born in 1977, is from Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province. He holds a Senior level political theory qualification, a Master's degree in Economic Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages.
From August 2021 to the present, Mr. Ho Van Mung has been an alternate member of the Central Committee of the Party, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and Secretary of the Nha Trang City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
