On his personal page on the X platform, CEO Tim Cook said Apple donated to relief and reconstruction efforts in many Asian countries heavily affected by storms and floods.

"The storms in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka have devastated many communities. At Apple, we are thinking of all those affected and will be donating to relief and rebuilding efforts on the ground," he said.

Sharing with Tri Thuc - Znews , a reputable source confirmed that Vietnam is also on the list of countries supported by Apple to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Storms, floods, and natural disasters have affected hundreds of thousands of people in many Asian countries, leading to loss of homes and property. The risks of disease and food shortages are also very high after severe floods.

Apple has not announced a specific amount it will donate. However, this is not the first time the company has participated in global disaster relief efforts. In March, the company also supported earthquake relief in Myanmar and Thailand. In 2024, similar efforts will be made for flood victims in Brazil and Pakistan.

In parallel with the donation commitment, Apple also launched the "Join hands to help our compatriots" collection on the App Store Vietnam. This is a collection of banking and e-wallet applications that help users quickly transfer money to support compatriots affected by natural disasters.
