Mr. Nguyen Nam Tien holds the position of Chairman of Dai Tu District People's Committee

During his working process, Mr. Nguyen Nam Tien was a civil servant of Hung Son town, Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province. Then he held the positions of Vice Chairman and Chairman of Hung Son Town People's Committee.

On January 20, 2020, at the 1st Extraordinary Session, Mr. Tien was elected by the People's Council of Dai Tu district as Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dai Tu district for the 19th term, 2016-2021 term with a voting rate of 97.4%.

On October 1, 2023, Mr. Nguyen Nam Tien was assigned as Acting Chairman of the District People's Committee to replace Chairman Pham Quang Anh, who was transferred and appointed as Director of the Thai Nguyen Department of Transport.

Holding the position of acting chairman for more than 4 months, specifically on February 7, Mr. Nguyen Nam Tien was elected by the District Party Executive Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term as Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee with 39/39 votes, reaching 100%.

On February 19, Mr. Nguyen Nam Tien was elected by the 20th term Dai Tu District People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of Dai Tu District People's Committee.
