Mr. Nguyen Van Hung has been appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Nam Dinh Provincial Post Office.

On September 17, 2024, Vietnam Post Corporation held a ceremony to announce the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Head of the Organization and Administration Department, as Deputy Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Post Office.

Attending and giving a speech assigning tasks at the General Corporation's location was Mr. Chu Quang Hao, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, and General Director of the General Corporation; also present were representatives from the Human Resources and Organization Department and the General Corporation's Office. The leadership and key officials of the Nam Dinh Provincial Post Office attended at their unit's location.

On behalf of the Corporation's leadership, the Director of the Provincial Post Office, Vu Thi Chau Giang, presented the appointment decision to Mr. Nguyen Van Hung.

Congratulating the new Deputy Director, General Director Chu Quang Hao shared: "Nam Dinh Provincial Post Office is one of the units with good business results and growth. The appointment of a colleague who has worked at the unit for a long time is both an advantage and poses challenges and pressures for the Provincial Post Office. The Corporation expects that the addition of a Deputy Director will strengthen comprehensive and overarching leadership, further promoting Nam Dinh Provincial Post Office to maintain the position it has built over the years. At the same time, it will provide a breakthrough development direction in the coming years."

Besides assigning tasks to the Leadership Board and employees of Nam Dinh Provincial Post Office to successfully complete the "120 Days of Action - Reaching the Finish Line" campaign, the General Director also outlined six specific tasks for Mr. Nguyen Van Hung. These focused on clearly defining and fully understanding the responsibilities of a leader, being ready to dedicate all his efforts, abilities, and strengths, and being willing to share the hardships with the employees to overcome challenges and successfully complete tasks. Simultaneously, he needed to effectively implement the ten golden principles of "Loyalty - Courage - Dedication - Creativity - Compassion" in the new context with new meanings. Furthermore, he needed to innovate his thinking and adapt quickly to meet the demands of his new position when directly participating in the business operations of the Provincial Post Office.

General Director Chu Quang Hao delivered a speech assigning tasks to the newly appointed officials.

“A leader needs to be someone who ‘Sets an Example – Maintains Discipline – Focuses – Drives Breakthroughs.’ In the current context, the newly appointed comrades need to uphold the spirit of setting an example and the responsibility of a unit leader. As for Comrade Hung, he needs to continue improving his skills, especially business knowledge, to ensure that management is on the right track, effective, and responsive to the new situation and position,” the General Director emphasized.

In his acceptance speech for his new position, Comrade Nguyen Van Hung expressed his gratitude for the trust and confidence placed in him by the leaders of the Corporation and the leaders of the Nam Dinh Provincial Post Office. In his new role, Comrade Hung pledged to work together with the leadership, staff, and employees of the unit to strive for many new results and achievements, and to continue contributing to the Provincial Post Office and the Corporation.

“During my more than 20 years working in the industry, I have had the opportunity to learn and accumulate experience in many different positions, from direct production labor, team management, functional department specialist to leadership at district post offices, transportation and exploitation centers, and functional department leaders at the provincial post office… I am confident and promise to use all my practical experience and skills to successfully complete my new nhiệm vụ, and continue to achieve even better results in my new position,” the new Deputy Director of the provincial post office expressed his determination.

Authorized by the General Corporation's leadership to present the appointment decision, Ms. Vu Thi Chau Giang, Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Post Office, shared: Comrade Nguyen Van Hung is an officer who has been trained and developed from the grassroots level, possesses good moral character, has the necessary skills and qualifications, and has made many contributions to his unit. She also expressed the hope that Comrade Hung will bring his enthusiasm, abilities, and unity to the Provincial Post Office team to strive for the sustainable development of the unit and the General Corporation, and in the immediate future, to successfully achieve the goals of the 120-day action campaign.
