After just over 1 month of construction, the road from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune connecting with Pho Hien ward is being closely directed by the People's Committee of Hung Yen province to speed up progress.

This is a key project. Connecting the old Thai Binh city to the center of the new Hung Yen province, it is expected to promote trade, inter-regional connectivity, and create a new development space after the merger of Thai Binh and Hung Yen provinces.
According to the report of the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2, by early December 2025, the project to invest in building the road from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune connecting with Pho Hien ward, phase 1, nearly 19km long with a total investment of 3,735 billion VND is being focused on accelerating construction progress and site clearance. To date, the project has disbursed 134.71/708.24 billion VND.
At the construction package of the Tra Ly River overpass and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge, the contractor has completed assembling machinery and equipment, setting up camps; at the same time, carrying out input procedures and applying for construction permits.
The construction unit is deploying the second collector roadbed, gathering about 10,000m³ of sand, preparing to drill the first bored pile at the T5 pillar. The target is to complete 90 bored piles on the bank of Thai Binh ward and 3 girder casting platforms to serve the construction of the approach span by February 16, 2026.

For the road construction package, contractors have built camps, casting yards, and gathered equipment and materials. At the construction site, items such as: clearing the ground, stripping weathering, building cofferdams, constructing horizontal drainage systems, U-shaped trenches, and load-bearing trenches have been deployed at sections where the ground is available.
Regarding site clearance, Thai Binh ward has paid basic compensation for agricultural land. Nam Tien Hung commune has approved the site clearance plan for 300/310 households; paid compensation and site clearance support of 9.64 billion VND to 83 households and handed over 0.9km of agricultural land.
Tien Hung commune has paid 83 households, handed over 1km of land; and is assessing plans for the remaining villages. Hong Minh commune has completed land clearance. Hung Ha commune is publicizing documents and assessing plans for agricultural land clearance; the area of residential land and converted land is being counted and verified.

During the inspection on December 3, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province Lai Van Hoan requested the contractor to comply with the progress, quality, ensure construction procedures and safety, especially the safety of electrical works during the project implementation process in accordance with the commitment to the province.
The Provincial People's Committee commits to ensuring resources and has a policy to remove difficulties in the demand for construction materials, creating conditions for construction units to have enough sources of construction materials.
Regarding site clearance, he requested that departments, branches and localities must comply with the timeline, in which agricultural land and cemetery land must be completed by December 2025; agricultural land must be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2026.
The information and communication agencies of the province and localities continue to promote propaganda about the meaning and importance of the project, the consensus and support of the people in the project area, creating a spreading effect on the projects being and will be implemented in the province.
It is known that Hung Yen province will resolutely direct the acceleration of the implementation of this important project, striving to complete it in 2027.
