Launching an online contest to learn about Petrolimex's 70-year history.

Towards the 70th anniversary of its establishment and development (January 12, 1956 - January 12, 2026), the Youth Union of Vietnam National Petroleum Group officially launched an online competition to learn about Petrolimex's 70-year history. This is a key activity aimed at spreading pride in the glorious tradition, while also creating an intellectual playground to connect employees and workers throughout the system.

The competition aims to promote and educate about the Group's formation and development over the past 70 years; thereby contributing to strengthening the spirit of solidarity and enhancing the bond between generations of employees.

Through an online competition format, the contest encourages each official, youth union member, and employee to proactively learn about the history, core values, milestones in development, and future direction of Petrolimex . This is also an opportunity for each person to show their appreciation for tradition, while continuing to promote a spirit of responsibility and creativity for the sustainable development of the Group.

The competition is held online and consists of two parts: multiple-choice and essay. In the multiple-choice section, participants will answer 70 questions, selecting one correct answer from four options. Each correct answer is worth 1 point, with a maximum total score of 70 points. The multiple-choice results will be displayed immediately after submission. The essay section consists of one question, worth a maximum of 30 points, with a minimum content of 50 words, presented clearly and concisely, and with no more than 70% overlap with other entries to ensure fairness and creativity.

To ensure convenience for participants across the system, the Organizing Committee is conducting the competition online, with the following specific timelines and target participants:

- Participation period: From December 15, 2025 to December 30, 2025

- Target audience: All employees of the Group (family and friends are encouraged to participate)

Besides its educational and promotional value, the competition also has an attractive prize structure in both individual and team categories, aiming to recognize, motivate, and encourage the enthusiastic participation of contestants.

- Individual awards:

1st Prize: 10,000,000 VND

5 Second Prizes: 4,000,000 VND/prize

10 Third Prizes: 3,000,000 VND/prize

20 Consolation Prizes: 2,000,000 VND/prize

02 Consolation Prizes: 1,000,000 VND/prize (For the contestant who answers 70 multiple-choice questions correctly and fastest, and the contestant who answers the essay question correctly and fastest)

- Team award:

1st Prize: 20,000,000 VND

2nd Prize: 10,000,000 VND/prize

3 Third Prizes: 5,000,000 VND/prize

(Conditions: 100% of employees/workers of the unit must participate and over 50% must answer correctly. If no unit meets the requirements, the Organizing Committee will consider the unit with the highest number of participants.)
