Launching the Writing Contest 'Deep Memories of Teachers and School'

At the competition launch ceremony, journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam, Editor-in-Chief of the Education and Training Newspaper and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, shared that in each person's journey, we are fortunate to meet teachers with hearts full of passion and boundless love.

"This writing competition is not just a literary playground, but also a meaningful journey to awaken the most genuine emotions in each of us. Through every word, every sentence, we will see beautiful images of teachers and the glorious years of our school days emerge," journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam expressed.

The writing contest "Deep Memories of Teachers and School" has been held since 2018 to honor and share the experiences of homeroom teachers who have shown great affection, dedication, and achievements. It encourages students, teachers, educational administrators, and parents to write about their profound memories of their homeroom teachers and their role as homeroom teachers.

The Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee expressed confidence that this year's competition would be a platform for generations of students to share and express their gratitude to their teachers. After the competition, the beautiful images in each entry will be further amplified and spread.

“These stories will be the building blocks that contribute to constructing a monument of gratitude and honor for teachers – those who have been and are sowing the seeds for the future of the country. To fulfill this great responsibility, in addition to policies that create motivation and the efforts of each teacher, the companionship, understanding, and sharing of the whole society are essential,” said journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam.

At the launch event, journalist Duong Thanh Huong - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Education and Training Newspaper - announced the rules for the 2024 writing contest "Deep Memories of Teachers and School".

The 2023 writing contest, "Deep Memories of Teachers and School," attracted over 80,000 entries. The preliminary judging panel selected 44 entries for the final round. The judging panel then awarded 30 prizes (2 group prizes and 28 individual prizes). The judges assessed the quality of the entries as quite good, with many works leaving a deep impression due to their meticulous preparation in both content and presentation.
