The contest, organized annually by the Ministry of Education and Training and assigned by the Education and Times Newspaper, this year attracted nearly 90,000 entries, of which 70,000 were submitted online.

Journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam - Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, Permanent Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest - spoke
Speaking at the program, Journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam, Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, said that many articles were profound, emotional, and truly reflected educational life through simple but moving stories. Among them, the story of Ms. Nhung - a teacher at Truong Sa Lon Primary and Secondary School - was considered outstanding when depicting a 10-year journey of sticking to the school, spreading knowledge in the middle of the ocean. The image of a small but resilient teacher amidst the storms of Truong Sa created strong emotions.
The work "The teacher who lit up my heart" by Nguyen Hai Nam, a blind student at Vo Thi Sau Secondary School ( Hai Phong ), also impressed with its sincerity. The article tells about the teacher who persistently accompanied and helped the author overcome difficulties to continue studying.
The Organizing Committee said that many of this year’s entries reflect a variety of school experiences, from memories of students in mountainous areas to stories of young teachers who have just graduated from school or small memories that become big lessons. This diversity helps the contest become a special forum where school memories are recreated from many perspectives.
Journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam said the contest will be maintained annually with a digital platform to spread works in many forms, from text to audio and images.
Representative of the Jury, Mr. Pham Quynh - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Education Publishing House - assessed that the quantity and quality of entries have both increased sharply. Selecting the best works "was not easy", many working sessions lasted until late at night to ensure fairness. He said that the vitality of the contest comes from the ability to connect emotions, reminding people of the beautiful values of the teaching profession.

"In the place of the storm, letters are sown with silent sacrifice" - she said.
With "The Sower of Sunshine", Ms. Luu Thi Mai said that the work was inspired by her friend from her student days - now a colleague - a resilient teacher who inspired many generations.
