This afternoon, July 16, the Ministry of Education and Training held a press conference to launch the 8th National Press Award for Vietnam Education - 2025.
The award is considered in 4 categories: Print, electronic, radio and television.
Press works participating in the award must be expressed in Vietnamese, published in licensed press forms, distributed domestically and abroad. The works must be published and broadcast from September 5, 2024 to September 4, 2025.
Each work is an article or series of articles of no more than 5 installments for print and electronic newspapers, and no more than 5 programs for radio and television (each radio program is no more than 60 minutes, each television program is no more than 120 minutes).
The Organizing Committee does not consider awards for works awaiting evaluation and conclusion from competent authorities; works that have won awards from the National Press Awards or other specialized national press awards; and works of a fictional nature.
The Organizing Committee will award a special prize. Each type of journalism will have one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes and a number of consolation prizes.
In addition, the organizers will award two prizes to outstanding characters selected from the winning works.
Deadline for submissions is September 30, 2025.
The National Press Award for Vietnam'sEducation Cause has been organized by the Ministry of Education and Training since 2018. The award aims to honor authors with excellent press works on the cause of education, and the contributions of typical collectives and individuals to the cause of education and training.
Through the awards and press works, we also aim to propagate and spread the results and achievements of the education sector in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, discover typical advanced examples, encourage and motivate teachers and education and training management staff to continue to contribute more to the cause of education./.
