According to information from the Director of the Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch, currently the Lao Cai Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch (Branch) has the largest capital source in the Northern mountainous region, with a total credit capital of nearly 4,600 billion VND. In recent times, the Branch has actively mobilized capital sources, including promoting the receipt of entrusted capital from the local budget, mobilizing deposits from organizations and individuals in the market and deposits from members of savings and loan groups, doing a good job of collecting due debts...

The program to mobilize "Deposit savings to join hands for the poor" in Lao Cai province takes place from April 10 to December 31, 2024, with the peak period from May 2 to May 31. The deposit receiving locations are the headquarters of the Branch and Transaction Office of the Policy Bank in districts and towns; transaction points in communes, wards and towns on fixed transaction days. The deposit interest rate is equal to the interest rate at the State-owned commercial bank.
