The above information was stated by Major General Tran Dinh Chung, Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Political Security, Ministry of Public Security, at the meeting after the 2025 high school graduation exam of the Ministry of Education and Training .
Specifically, the investigation agency identified 3 candidates in two examination councils who used their phones to take pictures of part of the exam and transfer them to an AI application to solve the questions. Another candidate in Lam Dong used a camera attached to his sleeve and sent the questions outside for someone else to solve.

After the investigation, the police identified the violators. The candidates initially admitted their violations.
"In the coming time, relevant units will continue to investigate, verify, and consolidate records, based on the nature and extent of the consequences, to handle them in accordance with regulations and laws," said Mr. Chung, adding that this is a small phenomenon that does not affect the security and safety of the exam, but emphasized that AI in the coming time will be more sophisticated, requiring authorities to have a synchronous solution.
Meanwhile, Mr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management (Ministry of Education and Training) affirmed that the exam was held safely, seriously, effectively and objectively.
Earlier on the evening of June 26, social media spread a screenshot of a post on an online AI platform about learning. An anonymous user posted a combination of questions identical to a question on the 2025 high school graduation math exam, asking AI to help solve it. The post was at 3:08 p.m. Meanwhile, according to the schedule, candidates take the test in 90 minutes, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. For multiple-choice subjects like math, the Ministry of Education and Training's regulations do not allow candidates to leave the exam room before the end of the test time.
The incident sparked speculation that the exam papers were leaked during the exam. The National Steering Committee for the High School Graduation Exam said on the evening of June 26 that this information was incorrect. "The National Steering Committee immediately forwarded the information to the technical department of the Ministry of Public Security to investigate the source, motive, verify, and strictly handle the case. The results of the handling will be announced later," the announcement stated.
In the case of Lam Dong province, the incident occurred on the morning of June 26, during the Literature exam of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
