The National Assembly Chairman expressed his wish that Ba Ria-Vung Tau province would soon implement the cooperation plan, and the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Parliament shared his wish that Rostov province would soon coordinate with Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. The National Assembly Chairman stated that the Vietnamese National Assembly supports the comprehensive cooperation between Rostov province and Ba Ria-Vung Tau province as well as other localities of Vietnam. The National Assembly Chairman also hoped that Governor Vasily Golubev and the leaders of Rostov province would continue to pay attention and create conditions for the local Vietnamese community to promote their role as a bridge, contributing to strengthening the cooperation between Rostov province and localities of Vietnam in particular and between the two countries in general. Speaking at the reception, on behalf of the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that for him personally, this was the first overseas trip in his capacity as Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, and the first visit by a key leader of the Party and State of Vietnam to the Russian Federation since the Russian Federation successfully organized the presidential election and completed the Government. The National Assembly Chairman congratulated the Russian Federation on its comprehensive and important achievements and results in recent times, ensuring political and social stability, economic development, and enhancing its position in the international arena. The Chairman of the National Assembly said that Rostov province is known for its beautiful scenery, wonderful architecture and is also the headquarters of many agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprises and one of the leading grain producing regions in Russia; a center of higher education and research of the Russian Federation in the south. According to Governor Vasily Golubev, promoting the good traditional friendship between Vietnam and Russia, Rostov Oblast and localities of Vietnam have great potential for cooperation with each other. In particular, the relationship between Rostov Oblast and Ba Ria-Vung Tau Oblast has been built for many years, the first cooperation agreement between the two provinces was signed for the first time in 2000. The two provinces always promote friendship and wish to cooperate with each other for the benefit of the people of the two provinces. Governor Vasily Golubev said that Rostov province has strengths in the fields of electricity, assembly, light industry, garment, production of export products, agricultural production, etc.; at the same time, it can cooperate with Vietnam in the fields of culture, tourism, history, etc. Stating that there have been some cooperations between Rostov province enterprises and Vietnamese enterprises with positive results, Governor Vasily Golubev affirmed that Rostov province leaders will create a legal bridge and favorable policies to promote smooth cooperation between enterprises. * Yesterday afternoon, September 9 (local time), National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man received representatives of the Vietnam Business Association in Russia.
