At Luong Dinh Cua Secondary School in Tay Nha Trang Ward, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh expressed his deep sympathy for the difficulties that teachers and students had to go through. The heavy flood caused the entire school campus to be deeply submerged, dozens of classrooms, teaching equipment and books were damaged. In the chaotic situation after the flood, the teachers still made efforts to clean up, overcome the situation, quickly stabilize teaching and learning, and ensure that students' schooling was not interrupted. According to comrade Nguyen Khac Dinh, this was a vivid manifestation of the sense of responsibility, dedication and love for the profession of the teaching staff.
Sharing the difficulties of the school, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized that natural disasters are becoming more and more complicated, requiring educational facilities in low-lying areas such as Luong Dinh Cua Secondary School to receive more investment in infrastructure.
He requested that the locality urgently review and repair classrooms, fences, and supplement necessary equipment; at the same time, promptly support teachers and students who suffered damage. The provision of textbooks and learning materials must be implemented soon to help students quickly stabilize their studies.

Leaving the school, the delegation visited Khanh Hoa Tropical Diseases Hospital in Dien Khanh Commune, the medical unit that suffered the most damage in the recent flood. Here, Dr. Ly The Huy, Deputy Director in charge of the hospital, said that the unit had proactively deployed a response plan according to the "4 on-site" principle. However, the floodwaters rose too quickly during the night, along with widespread power outages, forcing the hospital to urgently evacuate patients in the Intensive Care - Anti-Poison Department and the Infection - HIV/AIDS Department to higher floors. At the same time, the hospital received dozens of people brought in by rescue forces for shelter.

Immediately after the flood receded, the hospital urgently cleaned the environment, disinfected the entire campus, and restored essential professional activities such as X-ray, ultrasound, and testing to receive patients again.
Comrade Nguyen Khac Dinh deeply sympathized with the losses that the hospital had to endure, and highly appreciated the unit's role in advising the province on disease control and protecting public health after the flood.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly said that the National Assembly and the Government are urgently considering policies to support flood relief for the central localities, in which Khanh Hoa will be given priority in allocating resources through the mobilization activities of the provincial National Assembly delegation and relief organizations.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also informed that the National Assembly is finalizing the National Target Program on improving public health care, population and development, which is expected to be implemented in the next 10 years. This will be an important opportunity to strengthen the Khanh Hoa health system and improve the capacity to respond to future public health situations.
