Standing Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Pham Thanh Kien holds the position of Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has decided to transfer, assign and appoint Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Thanh Kien to hold the position of Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee.

On October 22, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to announce and present decisions on personnel. Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang chaired and presented the decisions.

Attending the ceremony were Party Central Committee member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Quoc Phong; Party Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Van Duoc; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council Vo Van Minh; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Phuoc Loc; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Dang Minh Thong; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee Van Thi Bach Tuyet.

At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee announced the decision to transfer, assign and appoint Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Pham Thanh Kien to hold the position of Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Also at the conference, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee announced the decision to appoint Central Party Committee member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Le Quoc Phong to join the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party agencies for the 2025-2030 term.
