Nam Dong commune was established after arranging and merging the entire natural area and population of Nam Dong commune and Dak D'rong commune. After the merger, the local government apparatus was consolidated, and state management work was basically stable.

The commune administrative service center officially came into operation on July 1. Up to now, it has received 427 applications, of which 304 were processed on time, and no overdue applications have been reported.
However, the infrastructure in the commune still faces many difficulties. The two previously arranged commune People's Committee headquarters have degraded, many items are damaged. The public administration center is temporarily located at the old headquarters, so the area is narrow and lacks equipment to serve the people.

Information technology infrastructure and Internet network do not meet work requirements. Working equipment is mainly reused, low configuration, affecting the efficiency of administrative procedure settlement.
Nam Dong commune leaders proposed that the province and relevant departments and branches soon provide guidance to remove difficulties in the process of receiving and processing administrative records. Nam Dong commune also proposed to be supported to upgrade equipment and organize professional training for commune-level civil servants.

At the meeting, the leaders of the departments guided Nam Dong commune to carry out the procedures for receiving the budget revenue and expenditure estimates for the last 6 months of 2025.
Departments and branches have clarified contents related to the authority to manage public assets and administrative procedures at the commune level.

Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen acknowledged the practical difficulties of Nam Dong. The difficulties of Nam Dong are similar to those of many neighboring commune-level administrative units.
Currently, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has requested departments and branches to review and synthesize the need for investment in administrative equipment and promptly organize training and professional development for commune officials. In particular, the province specifically requested to improve the efficiency of handling administrative procedures for people, especially in the field of land.

“Systemic problems must be resolved promptly. Subjective problems must be corrected immediately. The government close to the people must operate effectively, serve well and resolve administrative procedures on time for the people,” emphasized comrade Le Trong Yen.
On the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), the delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of war invalid Nguyen Van Thu in Nam Dong commune.
