Phu Quoc established 8 working groups to monitor residential areas

On the morning of October 11, the People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone (An Giang province) held a conference to announce the decision to establish 8 working groups to monitor the areas of residential areas.

The conference announced the decision of the Chairman of the Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee to establish 8 groups, including: Duong Dong Working Group with 38 members, An Thoi Working Group with 37 members; Bai Thom Working Group with 22 members; Cua Can Working Group with 24 members; Cua Duong Working Group with 28 members; Duong To Working Group with 26 members; Ganh Dau Working Group with 20 members and Ham Ninh Working Group with 25 members.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Le Quoc Anh, Provincial Party Committee member and Secretary of Phu Quoc Special Zone, emphasized that Phu Quoc established 8 working groups to enhance the effectiveness of state management and bring the government's policies closer to the people. These 8 groups play the role of "extended arms" of the special zone's government apparatus.

The Secretary of Phu Quoc Special Zone requested the leaders of the groups to demonstrate their responsibility and set an example. The groups need to closely coordinate with the Party cells of the neighborhoods to firmly grasp and manage the area in terms of accommodation, security and order, land and environmental sanitation; regularly connect with the Standing Party Committee and the People's Committee of the Special Zone to control the operation process...
