Mong Cai 2 Ward (Quang Ninh): Announcement of decisions to establish party organizations and merge public schools

On the afternoon of October 23, the Party Committee of Mong Cai 2 Ward (Quang Ninh Province) held a conference to announce decisions on establishing party organizations, merging public schools and appointing educational management officials in the area.

Attending the conference were Party Secretary, Chairwoman of the Ward People's Council Vu Thi Thanh Thao; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Pham Thi Oanh; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee Pham Van Hoan; Party Committees, Board of Directors of Kindergartens, Primary Schools, and Secondary Schools in the ward.

Delegates attending the conference announced decisions on the establishment of party organizations, the merger of public schools and personnel work.

At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Culture and Society of Mong Cai 2 Ward announced the Decisions on school mergers and personnel work. Accordingly, Van Ninh Kindergarten, Ninh Duong Kindergarten, Hong Ha Kindergarten were merged into Mong Cai 2 Kindergarten with 38 classes, 1,207 students and 5 school sites. Ninh Duong Primary School and Van Ninh Primary School were merged into Mong Cai 2 Primary School with 41 classes, 1,412 students and 2 school sites. Ka Long Secondary School, Ninh Duong Secondary School and Van Ninh Secondary School were merged into Mong Cai 2 Secondary School with 55 classes, 2,332 students and 3 school sites.

Party Secretary, Chairwoman of People's Council of Mong Cai 2 Ward Vu Thi Thanh Thao gave a speech at the conference.

Along with the organizational arrangement, the People's Committee of Mong Cai 2 Ward also announced the Decisions on personnel restructuring to appoint the positions of Principal and Vice Principal of schools. Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha was transferred and appointed to the position of Principal of Mong Cai 2 Kindergarten. The Vice Principals include Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Thu, Vy Hong Duyen, Dinh Thi Hai, Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, Hoang Thi Tat, Hoang Thi Thao, Chu Thi Minh Huong. Mr. Pham Quoc Hung was transferred and appointed to the position of Principal of Mong Cai 2 Primary School. The Vice Principals include Ms. Dinh Thi Lieu, Ms. Vuong Thi Thu Huong, Ms. Vu Thi Hang. Mr. Tran Tien Hung was transferred and appointed to the position of Principal of Mong Cai 2 Secondary School. The Vice Principals include Mr. Luong Quang Huy, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu, Ms. Vi Thi Thu Huong, Ms. Au Thi Hai.

Also at the conference, the leaders of the Party Building Board of the Ward Party Committee announced the Decision to establish the Party Committee of the schools after the merger. Accordingly, the Party Committee of Mong Cai 2 Kindergarten was established under the Mong Cai 2 Ward Party Committee, including 3 subordinate Party cells and 81 Party members; Comrade Nguyen Thu Ha, Principal was appointed as Party Committee Secretary; Comrade Vy Hong Duyen, Vice Principal was appointed as Deputy Party Committee Secretary. The Party Committee of Mong Cai 2 Primary School was established under the Mong Cai 2 Ward Party Committee, including 3 subordinate Party cells and 56 Party members; Comrade Pham Quoc Hung, Principal was appointed as Party Committee Secretary; Comrade Dinh Thi Lieu, Vice Principal was appointed as Deputy Party Committee Secretary. The Party Committee of Mong Cai 2 Secondary School was established under the Mong Cai 2 Ward Party Committee, including 3 subordinate Party cells and 78 Party members; Comrade Tran Tien Hung, Principal was appointed as Party Committee Secretary; Comrade Hoang Thi Thu, Vice Principal was appointed as Deputy Party Committee Secretary.

Speaking at the conference, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of the Ward People's Council Vu Thi Thanh Thao acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility and high determination of departments, boards, leaders, cadres and teachers of schools in the process of implementing the policy of merging and perfecting public schools. The process of merging public schools in the Ward was carried out strictly, openly, democratically, thoroughly, and fully ensuring the policy of the Province.

Party Secretary and Chairwoman of the Ward People's Council, Vu Thi Thanh Thao, emphasized that, implementing the policy of rearranging and streamlining the network of public service units, Mong Cai 2 Ward has merged 8 public schools into 3 schools to improve operational efficiency, rationally use existing facilities, staff and resources; and improve the teaching quality of schools. Thus, the number of educational institutions subject to rearrangement has decreased from 9 schools to 4 schools, down 5 schools after the merger.

The People's Committee of Mong Cai 2 Ward hopes and believes that the team of managers, teachers and staff of the schools will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, proactively and actively coordinate with each other to build a truly strong and comprehensive school community with many changes in the quality of education as well as school activities to ensure the excellent completion of the tasks of the 2025-2026 school year, contributing positively to the common political tasks of the locality.
