Tay Mo Ward gives gifts and shows gratitude to those with meritorious services

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 25, the People's Committee of Tay Mo Ward (Hanoi) organized a meeting to honor 153 meritorious people and policy families in the ward.

Speaking at the event, Hoang Thi Thuy Hang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Tay Mo Ward, expressed her gratitude to the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, and those who have contributed to the revolution in the ward.

According to Hoang Thi Thuy Hang, Secretary of the Tay Mo Ward Party Committee, from the beginning of July 2025, using funds from the "Gratitude and Remembrance" Fund and social contributions, activities to honor the heroes, martyrs, and meritorious individuals in the ward have been actively implemented by the Party Committee, government, and people of Tay Mo Ward. Tay Mo Ward organized a program providing free medical examinations, consultations, and medication to 163 policy beneficiaries and meritorious individuals; organized 5 delegations to visit and present gifts directly to 10 policy beneficiary families in the area; and organized the beautification and candle-lighting ceremony at the martyrs' cemetery...

“At today’s event, the ward organized the direct presentation of gifts to 153 war invalids, sick soldiers, resistance fighters exposed to chemical toxins, and representatives of the families of martyrs. In addition, 188 gift packages were delivered to residential areas to be handed directly to representatives of families who worship martyrs. These are practical activities, continuing the tradition and moral principle of “Drinking water, remembering the source” of our nation, demonstrating the unity and determination of the entire political system in the context of the new two-tier local government model coming into operation,” emphasized Comrade Hoang Thi Thuy Hang.
