In his remarks assigning the task, Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien emphasized that Russia's official invitation to Vietnam to send troops to participate in the parade at Red Square is an activity of special political and diplomatic significance. It not only demonstrates respect and high regard for Vietnam's role, but also serves as vivid evidence of the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, especially in the field of defense cooperation and military technology.

"In the context of the continuing complex developments in the world and the region, Vietnam's participation in the parade at Red Square is a concrete action to consistently implement its independent, self-reliant, multilateral, and diversified foreign policy, demonstrating Vietnam's responsibility in building and maintaining an environment of peace , stability, cooperation, and development," General Hoang Xuan Chien emphasized.
According to the Deputy Minister of National Defence , the presence of the Vietnamese army at the parade on Red Square is also an opportunity to enhance the image, position, and capabilities of the Vietnam People's Army - a revolutionary, regular, elite, and progressively modern army, ready to contribute to the common efforts of the international community for peace and sustainable development.
General Hoang Xuan Chien requested that the forces participating in the parade uphold the highest qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers," strictly adhere to discipline, proactively overcome difficulties, demonstrate strong determination and solidarity, successfully complete assigned tasks, and ensure absolute safety in all aspects, thereby contributing to spreading the positive image of Vietnamese soldiers in the eyes of international friends.
Representatives from the Army Officer School 1 stated that, over the past period, the school has led, directed, and thoroughly implemented the directives of the Minister of National Defense and the guidance of relevant agencies regarding the organization of forces participating in the parade.
To date, the forces participating in the parade have performed marching, marching at attention, and saluting in formation, all in a uniform, beautiful, unified, and powerful manner, in accordance with the rhythm of the Russian marching music. In addition, all preparations (mobilization plans; ensuring supplies, military equipment, food, medicine, packing luggage, and legal procedures…) for mobilizing forces to Russia to carry out their mission have been basically completed.
Earlier, Major General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Head of the Army Officer School 1, stated that the school's delegation to Russia for the parade consisted of 80 people. This included 73 military personnel in the parade contingent (68 official members and 5 reserve members); also accompanying them were leaders, training instructors, doctors, interpreters, and security personnel.
