On the afternoon of November 6, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai and Chief Prosecutor of the Provincial People's Procuracy Le Thi Quynh Hoa chaired the conference to sign the Regulation on coordination of work between the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Procuracy.

At the ceremony, the representative of the Provincial People's Procuracy approved the Coordination Regulations between the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Procuracy. The Coordination Regulations include 3 chapters and 16 articles.

This Regulation stipulates the coordination of work between the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Procuracy in performing the functions, tasks and powers of each agency according to Party regulations, legal regulations and regulations of the Regulation.

Applicable subjects include: Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial People's Committee, agencies under the Provincial People's Committee and District People's Committee; Party Executive Committee of the People's Procuracy, Provincial People's Procuracy and affiliated units.

Regarding the content and responsibility of coordination: The two sides will coordinate in the work of drafting legal documents and documents applying the law under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; coordinate in resolving criminal, administrative and civil cases, detention, execution of judgments and prevention of crimes and violations of the law; coordinate in the work of disseminating andeducating the law, exchanging and providing information, receiving people and resolving petitions, complaints and denunciations of citizens.

In addition, the two sides will also coordinate in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity; international cooperation; support the operating costs of the People's Procuracy; and exchange information on law violations and crimes.

Director of the Provincial People's Procuracy Le Thi Quynh Hoa: There needs to be active coordination between the two sides to effectively implement tasks according to the Coordination Regulations.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai informed about some outstanding results of the province's socio-economic situation in recent times. At the same time, he affirmed that these results had important contributions from the Internal Affairs sector, including the Procuracy sector.

The Procuracy has done a good job of exercising the right to prosecute and supervising judicial activities; the responsibility of prosecution has been increasingly strengthened, contributing to the effective implementation of the strategy of judicial reform, crime prevention and corruption prevention.

To effectively implement the coordination regulations, provincial departments, branches and sectors and district People's Committees need to thoroughly understand the coordination regulations to implement them promptly, effectively and in accordance with the law. Actively coordinate and create favorable conditions for the People's Procuracy at two levels to perform their functions and tasks; be proactive and positive in providing documents and evidence upon receiving documents.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that the Secretary of the Party Committee - Chief Prosecutor of the Provincial People's Procuracy continue to pay attention to directing and urging the implementation of coordination regulations within the agency; direct the District People's Procuracy to coordinate work with the People's Committees at the same level.

The Provincial People's Committee will direct departments, branches, sectors and localities to seriously implement the coordination regulations and implement the signed contents, enhance the sense of responsibility in coordination work, and strictly comply with the provisions of law.
