- From September 5th to 9th, the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, in coordination with the Tourism Development Support Fund and relevant units, organized a program to introduce Vietnamese tourism and connect businesses in Bengaluru and Hyderabad (India). A delegation from the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center participated in activities promoting Lang Son tourism within the program.
The delegation, led by Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Pham Van Thuy, included representatives from 31 tourism agencies and units nationwide and 28 tourism service businesses. This activity is part of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's 2025 tourism promotion and development stimulus program, contributing to the goal of welcoming 25 million international tourists.
Within the framework of the program, the Lang Son provincial delegation participated in joint activities such as: meeting and networking with 150 delegates from tourism, travel, hotel, airline, transportation, and theme park businesses from both countries, creating a forum to introduce products, seek cooperation opportunities, and build specialized service packages for the Indian market; introducing Vietnamese tourist destinations and products with updated information on development, favorable visa policies, air connections, and tourism infrastructure.
In particular, at each destination, the delegation from the Lang Son Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center introduced to international tourists the unique and distinctive cultural and tourism features of Lang Son, as well as Lang Son tourism publications and products such as: a map of Lang Son tourist attractions; unique Lang Son tour routes; the UNESCO Global Geopark of Lang Son; and products from the province's tourism brand identity, including the peach blossom baby mascot, lapel pins, and conical hats…
Promoting Lang Son tourism in the international market is a crucial step, helping the province attract more international visitors and develop sustainable tourism. With systematic investment, Lang Son will become an ideal destination for tourists from India in the future.
At the same time, this is also an opportunity for Lang Son tourism in particular and Vietnamese tourism in general to affirm its attractiveness, strengthen connections with the potentially rich Indian market, contribute to expanding cooperation and aiming for sustainable development of the industry in the new phase.
