Quang Binh has a new Director of the Department of Transport.

This afternoon (October 1st), the People's Committee of Quang Binh province held a conference to announce and present the decision of the Provincial Chairman Tran Thang regarding the appointment of the Director of the Department of Transport.

Mr. Tran Thang, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, has signed a decision appointing Mr. Hoang Dang Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport, to the position of Director of the Department, effective October 1, 2024. The term of office is 5 years.

Chairman of Quang Binh province Tran Thang emphasized that Mr. Hoang Dang Cuong is an official who rose through the ranks of the transportation sector, has many years of service, and possesses extensive experience in leading and directing the implementation of the sector's tasks.

Over the past period, he, along with the leadership, officials, and staff of the Department of Transport, has actively advised the province on major, strategic issues in socio-economic development, including the transportation sector.

Mr. Tran Thang expressed his hope that, in his new position, with the responsibility of a leader, Mr. Hoang Dang Cuong would continue to develop his abilities and strengths to fulfill the important tasks assigned to him and create breakthroughs in the development of the province's transportation infrastructure in a synchronized and modern direction.

The new Director of the Department of Transport, Hoang Dang Cuong, thanked the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee for their trust in assigning him this new responsibility and task. He also pledged that in his new position, he would always strive to foster unity and consensus within the leadership team and among all staff members of the Department to successfully complete the tasks entrusted to him by the provincial leadership.

Mr. Hoang Dang Cuong (born in 1976, from Quang Minh commune, Ba Don town, Quang Binh province). Before being appointed Director of the Department of Transport, he held many positions within the Department.
