In the 2025 high school graduation exam, officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police Department of Quang Nam Provincial Police focused on performing the task of ensuring traffic safety when this specialized force at the district level no longer existed.
Lieutenant Colonel Phan Thanh Hong - Head of the Traffic Police Department shared that, in compliance with the direction of all levels and the Provincial Police Director, the unit soon planned and paid special attention to implementing measures to ensure traffic safety for students going to and from exam sites.
Accordingly, assigned officers and soldiers have surveyed the routes to the exam sites. Thereby, the unit has planned to patrol and control to guide and regulate traffic flow for students to take the exam smoothly.
Timely detect and handle violations of laws on roads, inland waterways and railways that affect the traffic of parents and students.
Officers and soldiers are also on duty at exam sites to coordinate with local forces and youth volunteers to provide guidance and create favorable conditions for candidates to quickly enter the exam site.
Mr. Le Kim Thuong - Deputy Secretary of Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union, said that promoting the results achieved in the recent 10th grade entrance exam, the Provincial Youth Union directed the Standing Committees of districts, towns, city youth unions and affiliated youth unions to prioritize the implementation of the program "Supporting exam season" for the 2025 high school graduation exam on the basis of establishing new or consolidating youth volunteer teams.
Responsible for coordinating with local authorities, medical facilities, and schools to grasp information about the situation of candidates in the locality; develop proactive plans to handle unusual weather, accidents, and health incidents related to students.
“Youth volunteers will coordinate with functional forces to guide and direct traffic to ensure traffic safety at the exam site, high traffic density areas approaching the exam sites, and participate in responding to traffic incidents if any.
The Provincial Youth Union also requested that the Youth Union units pick up and drop off candidates in special circumstances, candidates in remote areas or candidates with disabilities for free. Coordinate to promptly prevent situations that cause traffic safety and security problems at the exam sites and on the access routes," said Mr. Le Kim Thuong.
Follow safety rules
In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Huynh Ngoc Hue High School (Ai Nghia town, Dai Loc district) has 380 students taking the exam. In recent days, in addition to continuing to provide knowledge for students, the school has held many meetings with parents to disseminate relevant regulations, including noting that they must comply with traffic safety rules when picking up and dropping off their children.
Teacher Doan Ngoc Vinh - Principal of the school said that he always focuses on coordinating with the traffic police and Ai Nghia town police to organize propaganda, dissemination andeducation of traffic safety laws for students.
Recently, the school continued to meet with candidates to propagate once again, when in the area there are many routes approaching the exam site with high traffic density.
In Duy Hoa commune (Duy Xuyen), teacher Pham Dieu - Principal of Le Hong Phong High School said that the unit has 285 candidates taking the high school graduation exam in 2025.
The school principals met and agreed with the plan proposed by the Duy Xuyen District Steering Committee. The District People's Committee also directed communes and towns to proactively coordinate with relevant sectors to ensure security, order, and traffic safety during the exam days.
Each commune and town sends at least 2 police officers to the examination site to coordinate in ensuring security, order and safety in the outer ring; maintaining security, order and safety at the examination sites.
The Department of Economics, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs coordinates to develop a plan to ensure smooth traffic; requests transportation businesses to arrange traffic hours, paying attention to rush hours during exam days to facilitate safe travel for students and parents.
Vice Chairwoman of Dien Ban Town People's Committee - Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Chau shared that the whole town has 2,411 candidates taking the exam at 7 exam locations. At these exam locations, the communes and wards are responsible for implementing the work of ensuring security, order and traffic safety.
The Town People's Committee also issued an official dispatch requesting the assurance of medical and food safety in the area. The locality has proposed that Quang Nam Regional General Hospital, Vinh Duc General Hospital and the Town Medical Center prioritize the arrangement of ambulances to promptly serve any incident.
