Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and "For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club awarded 250 scholarships to Khanh Hoa students

On the afternoon of December 5, Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the "For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union and the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa to award scholarships to ethnic minority students, island students and children of officers and professional soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Attending the program were Ms. Truong My Hoa - former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Vice President, President of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Head of the "For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club; Mr. Dang Ngoc Tung - former member of the Party Central Committee, former President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice Head of the "For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club; Comrade Nguyen Thanh Ha - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the program, the Organizing Committee and sponsors awarded 250 scholarships with a total value of more than 320 million VND to students in the province (each scholarship includes 1 million VND in cash and gifts of backpacks, notebooks, pens, etc.). Of which, 90 Vu A Dinh scholarships are for ethnic minority students; 90 scholarships from the "For Hoang Sa - Truong Sa Beloved" Club are for children of fishermen in difficult circumstances; 70 scholarships are for children of officers and professional soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Truong My Hoa shared the difficulties of the students, encouraged them to continue to make efforts in studying and training; and said that she will continue to mobilize benefactors to support them.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ha thanked Ms. Truong My Hoa, Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and "For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club for always caring, accompanying and sharing with students of Khanh Hoa province over the past years. In the context of many educational institutions and students of the province suffering heavy losses due to floods, awarding scholarships is not only material support, but also a source of spiritual encouragement to help students overcome difficulties, adding confidence and determination to continue striving in their studies. Comrade Nguyen Thanh Ha hopes that in the coming time, Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and "For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club will continue to implement many meaningful programs for poor students of the province and the whole country.
