Launch of digital short video social networking app Whistle

Recently, Whistle - a digital short video social networking application developed by Click Network Technology Ltd (registered in Singapore) was officially launched in Vietnam in two cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, attracting the participation of nearly 500 guests.

In addition to bundling common social features such as short videos, livestreaming, dating, and instant messaging, Whistle also expands its functionality by integrating more applications through API gateway authorization. This strategic integration aims to establish a more comprehensive and connected ecosystem.

Speaking at the event, Mr. David Cheang - Founder and CEO shared: “The number of social network users worldwide has increased to a record 4.9 billion people globally. Furthermore, this number is expected to increase to about 5.85 billion users by 2027. These users are not limited to a single platform, but they have accounts on 6-7 different platforms.

This highlights the need for a multi-platform approach to social media marketing. Our primary goal is to redefine the creator economy while delivering tangible benefits to our users. We believe that with unified products like TikTok listed on NASDAQ by 2024, the world will enter a whole new era of the economy.”

The event also introduced Whistle's cooperation with Link To Media Company, the unit implementing communication campaigns and developing Whistle social network.

According to Joe Lin, Whistle’s core team consists of members from the world’s top 500 Internet companies. Whistle’s technical team consists of experienced professionals with extensive development expertise and a well-established portfolio of successful projects. Each key individual in front-end development, back-end development, database design and management, cloud computing, and other key roles has more than a decade of professional experience.

“They have actively contributed to various stages of large-scale internet projects, ranging from research and development to ongoing operational maintenance. Their expertise spans areas such as product design, technical architecture, and implementation of robust security measures. Whistle has served over 500 projects, including 20 listed companies,” said Joe Lin.

Whistle, which aims to become a platform that meets users' needs for both entertainment and business, has received funding support from several family funds in Silicon Valley and the Middle East. Currently, Whistle has also established connections with more than a thousand MCN organizations from Japan, Korea and other organizations, and signed MOUs to cooperate with tens of thousands of KOLs worldwide to spread the platform.

Attending the Whistle launch event in Hanoi, Mr. Tran Ngoc Hung said: “Whistle is a new social network but the user experience is quite smooth. I have been using it for a month and the functions such as posting content and livestreaming are very sharp. In addition, I connect more with international friends and have better career development opportunities.”
