A pile of fruit dumped haphazardly on the road leading to the Ho Chi Minh road overpass.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Ro (residing in Binh Nguyen 2 neighborhood), the area around the Ho Chi Minh road overpass is wide and has no houses, so in recent years, many people have taken advantage of the dark night when there are few people passing by to regularly dump garbage. "I remember about a year ago, near the foot of the bridge, a puddle of black water appeared and overflowed into the rice field, giving off a foul smell. A few days later, the rice fields in this area dried up," Mr. Ro indignantly recounted.

Mr. NVB (residing in Chanh Quarter, Go Dau Ward) cultivates rice at the foot of the Ho Chi Minh Road overpass. On the morning of July 4, 2025, when visiting the field, he and many people discovered a pile of fresh fruit dumped near the field. According to the reporter's records on July 13, in this area, the pile of fruit was decomposing, the water flowing out was black, spreading to the rice field along the road, emitting a strong stench.

According to local residents, due to its remote location, lack of lighting, and lack of surveillance cameras, the area has become an “ideal” dumping site for indiscriminate dumping. Residents have requested that local authorities take immediate measures to thoroughly handle the situation of littering, install lighting systems, and surveillance cameras to ensure traffic safety, security, order, and environmental sanitation in the area./.
