Hanoi continues to be submerged in fine dust and fog

Hanoi has been shrouded in fine dust and fog for many days now, consistently ranking among the top 10 most polluted cities in the world. On the morning of December 3, 2025, the air pollution index (AQI) recorded around 127 (poor quality), which is harmful to health. The city recommends that people limit going out. If the AQI continues to rise to 301 or higher, students may be given a day off.
