The project to upgrade the road surface of the Lo Te - Rach Soi route, passing through Can Tho city and Kien Giang province, has a length of over 51km. The total investment is approximately 750 billion VND, with construction starting in June 2024 and expected to be completed in September 2025. The project is managed by the My Thuan Project Management Board.
According to the plan, the road will be upgraded to expressway standards and will become part of the future Western North-South Expressway.
