Reporting to the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nguyen Van Hung, Vice President of VFF Tran Anh Tu said: “The biggest difficulty for the Vietnamese women's team is the training ground. The distance to the field is about 40 km, the road is small, making it take 1.5 hours to get there, and sometimes it takes 4 to 5 hours to get there. Many female players are tired."

Mr. Tran Anh Tu asked, "I don't understand why the host country arranged this for our women's team?". "It's really too difficult. I would like to ask the Minister and the delegation leaders to meet with the organizing committee and propose a training ground closer to the women's team," the VFF Vice President suggested.

In addition, the quality of the meals for the women's team and the U22 team at the SEA Games is not guaranteed. The two teams have to supplement their own food by buying extra food from outside to maintain their fitness for the competition.

After receiving the feedback, Minister Nguyen Van Hung said he would make a recommendation to the Thai Olympic Committee. The Minister also said that changing the training ground would be difficult to implement immediately, but affirmed that he would find ways to provide maximum support. The Minister hoped that the Department's leaders would encourage the players to adapt to the conditions in Thailand, aiming for a successful SEA Games.

Also on the morning of December 9, the Vietnamese women's team continued to practice according to the coaching plan. The team was divided into two groups: one group practicing recovery after the previous match and the other group continuing to practice tactics in preparation for the match against Myanmar.

During the training session, Coach Mai Duc Chung encouraged and acknowledged the players' efforts, and reminded the team to practice more, gain experience and stay focused on the goals ahead. He affirmed that the team must show the highest determination to achieve good results in the upcoming match. After the defeat against the Philippines, the Vietnamese women's team must win against Myanmar in the final match to decide their ticket to the semi-finals of the 33rd SEA Games.
