On the morning of September 9, the Department of Science and Technology of An Giang province launched an inspection of the quality and labeling of electrical and electronic equipment, electric cables, children's toys and helmets circulating on the market in 2025.

The team inspects the quality of the helmets.

The inspection team visited one helmet business and one electrical equipment business in Long Xuyen ward ( An Giang province).

The inspection covers product labeling in accordance with Decree No. 43/2017/ND-CP and Decree No. 111/2021/ND-CP; the display of applicable declared standards, conformity marks, codes, and barcodes as prescribed by law; the conformity of goods with technical regulations, applicable declared standards, and accompanying documents; and other matters related to product quality.

In cases where goods show signs of not meeting quality standards, the inspection team will take samples as per regulations for testing of quality indicators at a designated testing organization.
