Registering to donate organs is receiving widespread attention from the public.

During Humanitarian Month, the Red Cross, in collaboration with the Organ and Tissue Transplantation Advocacy Association, intensified communication about organ and tissue donation.

According to Dr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc, Deputy Director of the National Organ Transplant Coordination Center, thousands of critically ill patients currently need kidney, liver, heart, and lung transplants.

The number of people registering to donate organs and tissues has increased in recent years, with over 86,000 people having registered (17,000 registered in 2023 alone).
