At noon on December 4, on Prenn Pass road, Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, an important gateway to the administrative- political center of Lam Dong province, a landslide occurred on the positive slope, causing traffic congestion.

According to records, the landslide point is located in the middle of Prenn Pass, near the previous subsidence; a large amount of soil, rocks, and trees on the positive slope slid down onto the road, forcing vehicles to temporarily stop moving in both directions.

Immediately upon receiving the news, the functional forces of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat and the Traffic Police were present to direct traffic and guide vehicles moving into and out of Da Lat via other routes while the scene was handled.

According to authorities, with the new landslide on Prenn Pass, authorities will urgently fix it to restore normal traffic on the afternoon of December 4.

In another development, on the evening of December 3, on Mimosa Pass , Xuan Huong Ward, Da Lat, another landslide occurred right at the temporary road that had just reopened a few days ago.

Relevant units urgently handled the scene of the new landslide on Mimosa Pass to be able to reopen the route on the afternoon of December 4.

On the morning of December 4, the landslide on Mimosa Pass was recorded and relevant units mobilized many machines and vehicles to urgently handle the scene. It is expected that two-way traffic will be able to resume in the afternoon of the same day.
