On November 11, Da Nang City authorities continued to deploy vehicles and personnel to search for a student who went missing while swimming at Sao Bien beach (My An ward, Ngu Hanh Son district, Da Nang).

Previously, at 3:30 p.m. on November 10, at Sao Bien beach, local people discovered two students drowning while swimming, so they coordinated with the Da Nang City Coast Guard to rescue them.

Due to big waves and strong winds, the rescue team was only able to save P.D.M. (14 years old, residing in Hoa Chau commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang) and take him to the hospital. The remaining student, D.VKD (14 years old, residing on Nguyen Nhan street, Cam Le district, Da Nang), was swept away by the waves and went missing.

According to the leader of Non Nuoc Border Guard Station (Da Nang City Border Guard), after receiving the news, from the afternoon of November 10, the unit mobilized officers and soldiers with jet skis and canoes to coordinate with the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches, and local authorities to organize a search for D.

Rescue forces search for missing victims.

However, due to big waves and strong winds in the sea, rescue work was very difficult and as of noon on November 11, the missing person had not yet been found.

Also on the evening of November 10 and morning of November 11, the SOS Team Da Nang and the SOS Team Quang Nam mobilized members to coordinate with the search and rescue forces. The team used Flycam to search in a 5km2 area of ​​Sao Bien beach and is mobilizing more Flycams, but the current weather conditions are unfavorable, with strong winds, making it very difficult.

It is known that in recent days, due to rough seas and big waves, authorities have put up signs prohibiting swimming at Sao Bien beach, but many people are still subjective and ignore the warnings.
