Dozens of teenagers detained for carrying weapons to resolve conflicts

On March 10, Ha Giang Provincial Police said that at 9:00 p.m. on March 9, on the dual carriageway in Lam Dong village, Phuong Thien commune, Ha Giang city, Ha Giang City Police discovered about 30 subjects driving motorbikes at high speed, weaving in and out, without helmets, without license plates, carrying knives, homemade swords, pig spears, beer bottles... gathering to fight, disturbing public order.

Ha Giang City Police then coordinated with Phuong Do Commune Police and Phuong Thien Commune Police to temporarily detain 19 subjects, 13 motorbikes and a number of weapons, and brought them to Ha Giang City Police headquarters for verification and clarification.

During the initial investigation, the police identified the suspects as two groups of teenagers and students from Phuong Do commune, Ha Giang city and Cao Bo, Phu Linh, Ngoc Linh, Thuan Hoa communes (Vi Xuyen district).

Previously, the two groups had had a conflict before, then made an appointment to resolve the conflict in Ha Giang city.

Ha Giang City Police are continuing to verify and clarify the more than 20 fugitives. At the same time, they have invited the families of the above-mentioned group of teenagers to the police station to coordinate the resolution.
