
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Huy Tuan, CEO of NURA, emphasized: "NURA aims to raise awareness and foster the habit of proactively undergoing regular health check-ups among Vietnamese people. At the same time, the Center also plays a role in bridging cultural gaps and strengthening the cooperative relationship between Japan and Vietnam in the field of healthcare, bringing practical value to the community."
NURA utilizes advanced Fujifilm medical equipment, including CT and mammography systems, as well as an AI-based medical information technology system designed to assist doctors in screening and testing for cancer and lifestyle-related diseases. The service has been used by over 45,000 people, offering the convenience of completing all examinations and receiving feedback on results in approximately 120 minutes. Another highly appreciated feature is the ability for users to hear their doctor's results while viewing the actual diagnostic images.

Dr. Le Tuan Linh, Director of the Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology at Hanoi Medical University Hospital, assessed: "NURA's application of AI technology in early screening, capable of detecting lesions as small as a few millimeters, will greatly assist doctors in not missing any abnormalities, thereby enabling them to plan the best follow-up and provide the best advice to patients."
Dr. Matsuoka Yoshinori, President of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) of Japan, renowned as a "super doctor" with eight medical specialist degrees and groundbreaking international patents, shared: “We are committed to accompanying the Vietnamese people in the early detection and effective management of 10 types of cancer and 20 common lifestyle diseases, contributing to building a proactive healthcare culture and improving the quality of life for the Vietnamese people.”
Deputy Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Ministry of Health , Nguyen Trong Khoa, expressed his support and expectations for the launch of NURA: "Today's opening event demonstrates the Government's determination and support in promoting the application of technology to improve the quality of healthcare services. We believe that, with a solid foundation and a long-term vision, NURA will become a pioneering model, contributing to changing people's perceptions and creating a habit of proactively taking regular health check-ups in Vietnam."
The opening ceremony was also honored to welcome the presence of Mr. Ito Naoki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam. The Ambassador expressed his hope that the unit would provide high-quality medical services, applying modern AI technology to support Vietnamese people in the early detection and treatment of serious illnesses. "I am very pleased to witness the launch of NURA in Hanoi and hope that this model will receive support from the Government and people of Vietnam," said Mr. Ito Naoki.
