Strengthening coordination between the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Information Portal and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee News Website

At the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Cong Dung, Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper, said that the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Information Portal is designed as a multimedia electronic data warehouse. The Portal provides readers with the Party's guidelines, policies, and documents; is a communication portal between the Party and the People; is an information integration center of the Central Party agencies, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, socio-political organizations, ministries, branches, and provincial and municipal Party Committees; is a focal point for integrating and sharing information between publications of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper.

The portal includes a block of communication channel functions between the Party and the People and 102 specialized pages integrated from the information systems of the Central Party agencies, ministries, branches, provincial and municipal Party Committees and socio- political organizations with regularly updated information.

Comrade Nguyen Cong Dung said he will always be ready to coordinate and support the City Party Committee's website for the common benefit, ensuring the Party's consistent leadership in general and especially in information and propaganda work.

At the meeting, the two sides also shared the advantages and difficulties in the process of information integration; at the same time, proposed practical solutions to make coordination activities more effective in the coming time, ensuring that information quality is increasingly improved.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, said: In the coming time, the City Party Committee's Electronic Information Portal will have to be upgraded to ensure the quality of information as well as an increasingly attractive interface, meeting the information needs of the people. Only then will the integration of information into the Electronic Information Portal of the Communist Party of Vietnam be better and more effective.

In addition, the News Site also needs to have technical and human resource solutions, develop a specific plan, and have a clear roadmap so that the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Electronic Information Portal can be increasingly improved, increasing the rate of news and articles published on the Portal.
