Presenting portrait statues of President Ho Chi Minh to communes, wards, and special zones in An Giang province.

On the afternoon of December 11th, at the An Giang Provincial Military Command, acting on behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, the 9th Military Region Command presented portrait statues of President Ho Chi Minh to 102 communes, wards, and special zones in An Giang province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Van Tien, Deputy Commander of Military Region 9, said that the presentation of portrait statues of President Ho Chi Minh to the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones in An Giang province has profound political , cultural, and spiritual significance, expressing the boundless love and deep concern of the armed forces of Military Region 9 and the people of the localities in the Mekong Delta for the great leader of the nation, the national liberation hero, a world cultural figure, and the beloved father of the people's armed forces.

The Deputy Commander of Military Region 9 emphasized that the Ministry of National Defense's gifting of portrait statues of President Ho Chi Minh to the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones in An Giang province is a concrete action aimed at contributing to the widespread dissemination of the core values ​​of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style to every cadre, Party member, and citizen; consolidating the military-civilian solidarity to become increasingly strong and firm; and encouraging localities to continue promoting patriotic emulation movements among the armed forces and all strata of the people.

At the same time, it demonstrates the beautiful tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source" of the nation and the deep concern of the Ministry of National Defense and the Command of Military Region 9 for the localities in An Giang province - areas with important strategic positions in terms of politics, economics and national defense and security.
