Making a difference for agarwood products in the “city of bridges”

Having started a business in many fields, only when coming to agarwood did Ms. Trinh Thi Kim Tuyen (born in 1983) decide to stick with it. Her products Agarwood Heart and Agarwood Pen have just achieved 4-star OCOP and won the First Prize for Startup Ideas in Thanh Khe District ( Da Nang City).

Previously, Ms. Tuyen had started a business in many different fields, from producing electric wires, doing projects, stationery, spa, producing bottled water... Although all of them were not successful, they gave her a lot of experience. When she learned about agarwood and its benefits, she was determined to stick with it and develop agarwood products.

Ms. Tuyen has thoroughly researched agarwood, from its origin, uses to manufacturing methods. At the same time, she also sought out people with experience in this field to learn from. In 2021, she boldly founded the Dana Tram Huong product brand with her colleagues.

To orient the product, Ms. Tuyen has associated agarwood with tourism products. "Da Nang is a city of tourism, of bridges. To create a difference as well as bring agarwood to more young people and tourists, in addition to traditional products, Dana Tram Huong aims at product lines with the scent of flowers of the 4 seasons," said Ms. Tuyen.

From raw materials to operations and personnel, she pays attention to everything, especially the testing to produce products that are both high quality and beautiful.

Ms. Tuyen considers herself lucky to have the companionship of dedicated colleagues. They started their business with enthusiasm, love for their work, and do not back down in the face of difficulties. What they are most proud of is that the product called Dana is known by many domestic and foreign tourists.

With a transparent business perspective, Ms. Tuyen has implemented product labeling processes, built according to the criteria of sustainable development, environmental protection and healthy business. With clear origin, natural flavors, production process according to TCVN 9001:2015 - ISO 9001:2015, products have been diversified to meet market demand.

In 2022, Dana's product won the first prize for Thanh Khe District's startup idea. Two products, Tim Tram and But Tram, by Dana have just achieved 4-star OCOP.

Not only doing business, Ms. Tuyen and Dana team also actively participate in environmental protection and community development activities. She believes that economic activities associated with environmental protection are a trend of the whole society.

Therefore, "green" production and "green" products are one of the development criteria of Dana agarwood production facility.
