Chemical, Petroleum and Post and Telecommunications Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement

On February 10, in Hanoi, implementing the Government's direction on promoting the core, leading and pioneering role of State-owned enterprises in the economy, and at the same time implementing the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", the Vietnam Chemical Group, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group and the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group carried out extensive business cooperation activities in many fields.

To enhance the cooperative development relationship between leading corporations nationwide, and to affirm the role and responsibility of state-owned economic corporations in the cause of national construction and defense, the corporations have agreed to implement and sign strategic cooperation agreements.

During the working session, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, General Director of Vietnam Chemical Corporation (Vinachem); Mr. Dao Nam Hai, General Director of Vietnam Petroleum Corporation (Petrolimex); and Mr. Huynh Quang Liem, General Director of Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group ( VNPT ), officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement in the presence of the Chairmen of the respective corporations.

In the memorandum of understanding, the parties agreed to extensive cooperation in the following areas: prioritizing the cross-use of each other's products and services; cooperating in the distribution of products and services across each party's system and network; cooperating to leverage strengths; and other forms of cooperation. Given the prestige and position of these corporations in the Vietnamese economy, the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement is expected to bring new opportunities and potential for development to both parties, jointly promoting the development of promising projects that benefit the country, and collaborating on research to jointly develop and expand into international markets.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vinachem Chairman Phung Quang Hiep shared: "The strategic cooperation agreement between Vinachem, Petrolimex, and VNPT is a groundbreaking step, affirming the pioneering role of the three corporations in connecting strengths, innovating, and leading the national industry. This is not just a simple cooperation, but a commitment to action to optimize resources, expand the product and service ecosystem, accelerate digital transformation, and enhance competitiveness in domestic and international markets. We believe that, with determination and strategic vision, this cooperation will create sustainable values, promote strong growth, and contribute to shaping the future of Vietnam's industry."

Petrolimex is committed to working with Vinachem and VNPT to implement innovative initiatives and apply modern technology to develop advanced products and services that meet the increasingly high demands of customers,” emphasized Petrolimex Chairman Pham Van Thanh.

On behalf of VNPT, Group General Director Huynh Quang Liem affirmed: “The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between the Groups is an important step to leverage and develop the strengths of each side in their respective fields of operation, aiming for mutual development.” Digitalization will make the business operations of Petrolimex and Vinachem more professional, efficient, and reliable, providing customers with completely new experiences. The cooperation agreement will help accelerate the digital transformation of all aspects of Petrolimex and Vinachem's operations; apply Industry 4.0 technology to management and production activities, improve operational efficiency, and turn the challenges of the Industry 4.0 revolution into opportunities for breakthrough development.

This signing ceremony not only opens up great opportunities and potential for strategic cooperation between corporations but also promotes sustainable development in the spirit of mutually beneficial cooperation to strongly implement sustainable development goals, thereby accompanying the elevation of Vietnamese brands in the international market.
