Training to propagate the results of the National Congress of Vietnamese Catholics

On the morning of December 12, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee (VCSSC) held a training conference to propagate the results of the 8th National Congress of Vietnamese Catholics for National Construction and Defense, term 2023 - 2028.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Father Giuse Tran Xuan Manh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee expressed his joy at meeting and exchanging with delegates representing the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities and members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee attending.

According to Father Giuse Tran Xuan Manh, the 2023 - 2028 term of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha has just entered its first year in the context of many innovations in the country; the implementation of the Congress Resolution needs to be deployed more comprehensively. The training conference aims to improve the management, leadership and guidance capacity of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha on propaganda, dissemination and thorough understanding of the main contents of the Congress Resolution.

Delegates representing many provinces and cities attended the conference.

"On that basis, it helps the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha to develop work orientations, closely follow the content, evaluate the quality of the emulation movement and the results achieved each year," said Father Giuse Tran Xuan Manh.

In addition to the propaganda training, at the conference, delegates were informed about the topic: Companionship - Sharing - Service is the noble mission of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha at all levels in the current period....

According to the Organizing Committee, the main documents of the Congress (Draft Summary Report, Charter Amendment Report, etc.) were sent to provinces, cities, and central agencies for comments. Thereby, new or duplicate comments were edited and supplemented through the drafts before being submitted to the Document Subcommittee.
