Ship smuggling 80,000 liters of DO oil was arrested at sea

On the morning of November 27, the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 announced that it had just seized a ship carrying about 80,000 liters of DO oil of unknown origin in the southwestern sea, about 130 nautical miles south-southeast of Hon Khoai Island ( Ca Mau ).

At the time of inspection, there were 4 crew members on board the BT 92009 TS, captained by Mr. Le Hoang Thi, born in 1985, permanent residence in Tay Yen A commune, An Bien district, Kien Giang province. According to Mr. Thi's initial statement, the ship was transporting about 80,000 liters of DO oil without invoices or documents proving its legal origin.

The functional forces of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command then proceeded to draw up a record and seal the violating goods. After that, they escorted the vehicle to the port of Squadron 421 in Nam Can District, Ca Mau Province for further investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
